Our Story

It takes a village was started in Hailey, Idaho by former Country Singer, Retired Pro Strength Athlete, Purple Heart Recipient and Combat Veteran Robbie Walden and his wife Yvonne Walden when the Lord called him and his wife into evangelism at the end of 2020.

Robbie, a standout athlete as a child, was adopted by his best friends’ family ‘The Marundes” due to an abusive alcoholic father. By the grace of the Lord, Robbie had the support of the Marunde’s, coaches, teachers and even a town who believed in him so much, they even paid for his expenses to compete in the high school nationals for wrestling and the Jr. Olympics in Track and Field.

Through his God given talents, the life experiences of touring, competing, war, adoption, abuse, PTSD, losing teammates, suicide, divorce and being saved, coupled with the memories of the support of many throughout his life, Robbie is now using his testimony and gifts to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and show you truly can “Do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
